8:04 PM - Englewood pics from Saturday

This was about 66th and Halsted. You see a Church's Chicken to the left and the up ahead is something of a shopping mall. No big names stores and I don't know what is sold in there because I've never actually shopped there.
This is still on Halsted to the right is the campus of Kennedy King College. The City Colleges of Chicago seems to have invested in a lot of green space around the college campus there. To the left is a parking lot that once upon a time was home to store fronts that were torn down to build a parking lot for the college. Up ahead is the Halsted CTA Green Line L stop, a place that might be jumping with students coming to class from all parts of the city, hopefully.
I had to get a pic of the clock tower. I wonder if it'll make those chime sounds that a clock would make. A nice architectural addition to a neighborhood that's looking for revitalization. And I'm sure being hopeful.

11:44 PM - The house of clout - S Wabash Ave & E 83rd St

This is one of my favorite houses. It has a driveway like any other mansion. Nice house and to be sure the comments I just posted makes a good point. And check out this description.
So, who do you have to be to demarcate the public parkway as if it were part of
your property? It doesn't block public passage, but it does make a statement.

Roseland, originally uploaded by lbj79us.

This for the most part the main commercial district in Roseland. This was at 111th and Michigan looking due south.
