I don't know for how long or even if this blog might ever publish again, but for now this will be the last post. Thanks for your comments or readership and feed subscriptions.
There is a blog that took its place It's My Mind in Beta. Some archival material has been uploaded there. Mainly mobile pictures and my original videos. So I hope you follow me there as well. And subscribe as well.
There will be more mobile pics and in the feed you will see updates to Flickr as well. I would like to do some original videos there too, but that blog will be more focused. I hope you enjoy.

9:02 PM - A different direction
I've been promising a new direction for a while. Starting this summer there will be one. This blog will go back to being a photo/video blog. There will be no more blogthings, cartoons, or email spam. Random videos that I find off of YouTube will for me at the moment their status will be unclear. I haven't decided whether or not I will either continue to post those or not.
I would like to post more of my original pictures. Hopefully if I can get my cell phone good to go again I'd like to post cameraphone pics again. Those I promise to post good Flickr photos that I run across like I used to and original videos made by your's truly.
There won't be a particular emphasis on anything in particular. I want to keep things experimental I want to play with video editing and then display the results here. That'll be the only reason for it. Of course these will be vids of places I've been or what not.
For most anything else you can always go to It's My Mind, The Movie Cabinet, Unconventional Wisdom or The Sixth Ward. If you're still around thanks for dropping by and it would be good for you if you subscribed to this blog's feed you won't just get blog updates, but also photos that I will upload to Flickr in the future.
You can subscribe using the link contained in every post on this blog that says "Subscribe to this feed" or go down to the very bottom of the blog and look for an orange rounded square with "Subscribe to My Mind's Eye" right next to it to subscribe to this blog. To subscribe you can use such a program as Google Reader, Bloglines, or even MyYahoo to receive blog updates. I hope that subscription posts such as this will remain relatively rare. Thanks you for reading.

10:47 AM - I just bought a new camcorder
Another entry level model but adequate since I can't yet afford the expensive High Definition models. Still I'm liking this camera because I can shoot video at night. I tested it out on myself last night and looking at myself was strange because I was a greenish hue.
Anyway this means that I can finally convert some of the video I've compiled over the years to a computer file. This also means that I might have to get an external storage device to people to have some space to hold the video files. Still this means that more V-Logs will be forthecoming.
They might be old archival footage or newly created video. Still My Mind's Eye is going back to what it was designed for exhibition of original pictures and videos. BTW, only three videos came from actual digital cameras. Still I ahve a camcorder to play with and I intend to use it.

2:29 PM - I've got a Flickr "pro" account now...
Actually I've had it for a good three months since I merged my Yahoo! Photos account with my Flickr account. It was decided that Yahoo! Photos would close for service and that Flickr would be the primary photo hosting website.
When I merged my Yahoo! Photos with Flickr I gained a "pro" account but that would last me three months I believe. On Oct 6th, I would have had to fork over some cash and that would have meant at least another year or two of being a "pro" account member. It would have cost $25 for a year or $48 for two years.
A "pro" account gives you unlimited storage, uploads, bandwith, photosets, permanent archives of high resolution pictures, and ad-free browsing and sharing. If you had a free account the basic benefits are that you can only upload 200 photos at a time. There was a bandwith limit per month. You can only create three photo sets. If you did continue to post after reaching the 200 photo limit you're pictures won't be visible among those 200 photos. In fact if you blog as I do or other wise post some pictures somewhere on the internet that's the only time you'll see that picture until you buy a "pro" account.
When I didn't have a "pro" account, what I do is delete those pictures that haven't gotten a lot of views. Save the ones with views or comments and I won't upload pics with any regularity. This summer that changed since I could reap the benefits of a "pro" account.
Now I have a "pro" account for as long as I take advantage of AT&T/Yahoo! DSL. Expect more uploads in the future and I hope that the Flickr badge you see at the bottom will see a different set of pictures when you visit. Though for right now, they're going to be what they are because I didn't thing to bring my usual point and shoot camera with me.
And I'm gonna figure out what my cell phone doesn't send or recieve text messages. As soon as I can figure that out I'm gonna post cell phone images onto Flickr as well. Of course even if I do I'll post picture directly onto this blog. That's what it's here for primarily.

6:25 PM - I got my camcorder back today!!!
I sent it to a place to get fixed for free last week. Just got it back today, I had the problem of having no image on the camcorder. I'm still looking for a new one though with more features and hopefully smaller. I have to admit though that it'll all depend on price that's more important right now. The point is though I can really play around with it right now again. Almost like it was when I bought it a few years ago.
Hopefully this might mean that I'll have some more videoblogs. I've averaged one a month and for now that'll work for me.

10:01 PM - Blog update
I've been having trouble uploading mobile pictures so hopefully you can enjoy as filler, especially if you are a subscriber to this blog, are my ma.gnolia links. I've already got three and these are going to be a little more relaxed than the my del.icio.us links I use over at The Mind. And I don't intend to use ma.gnolia as frequently as del.icio.us.
Just more of your perusal and fun. Have a great day.
